Thomas J. Schory, MD, FACS

Elizabethtown native, Dr. Thomas Schory, practices at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center as a general surgeon. After completing medical school at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Dr. Schory completed his residency training at University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has spent much of his medical career caring for the residents of central and northern Kentucky.

Surgical interventions performed by Dr. Schory include minimally invasive/laparoscopic surgery, hernia repair, gallbladder and hemorrhoid surgeries, breast and colon cancer surgeries, as well as colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures. He values helping his patients overcome illness and injury, treating each patient with respect.

Dr. Schory says his wife and children are the best part of his life. He is also active in his local church and travels to Honduras, Haiti and India for medical missions
