Dr. Scott E. Gaines Memorial Scholarship Golf Classic
The Scott E. Gaines Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to two Hopkins County students annually (one from each high school) since it began in 2013. Because of the success of this Golf Classic, four $5000 scholarships will be awarded in 2026. Your participation and sponsorship directly assists these students in their college journey.
Team registration is handled directly through the Madisonville Country Club.

- Saturday, September 13: Start times at 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- Sunday, September 14: Tee times and pairing are based on Saturday scores

Tournament Details (Saturday and Sunday)
- Entry fee: $300 per team. All entries must be paid by Monday, September 8
- Entry fee includes two rounds of golf, plus free practice round from September 9-12. Entry fee must be paid to book a practice round. You may bring your own cart at no additional charge. A limited number of rental carts will be available to rent for $35 per day. Please call Pro Shop 270-821-3700 for cart rental information.
- Field limited to first 72 paid entries.
- Free lunch included both days beginning at 10:30 a.m.
- Senior Tees (62+), tournament will be flighted after Saturday’s round.
- Mulligans are $10 each, limit one per player per day. Skins game on Saturday - $20 per team. Prizes for closest to pins and longest drive.
