Festival of Trees Brings Holiday Cheer and Community Support to OHTLMC Volunteer Auxiliary
Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center has kicked off its annual Festival of Trees, now on display in the hospital’s front lobby from December 1 through December 15. This beloved tradition features beautifully decorated, themed Christmas trees created by departments across the hospital, each a unique showcase of creativity and teamwork.
The festive display transforms the lobby into a warm, welcoming space for patients, visitors and team members, spreading holiday cheer throughout the season.
As part of the event, the decorated trees are available through a silent auction open to everyone. Participants can place bids during the two-week display for the chance to take home one of these stunning trees just in time for the holidays. The auction not only adds excitement but also provides an accessible way for the community to support the work of the OHTLMC Volunteer Auxiliary.
“Our volunteers organize this event annually to reinvest funds in support of special projects both within and outside the hospital, directly benefiting our patients and the community,” said Patty Bratcher, Executive Assistant.
Now a cherished annual tradition, the Festival of Trees brings together team and community members in a shared celebration of the season, while strengthening local healthcare initiatives.
