Vaccines Now Available - Limited Inventory

The latest COVID-19 variant vaccines are now available. Due to limited availability we are administering vaccines by appointment only. Our online scheduling page shows all available appointments. If none are available, please do not call and attempt to schedule. More appointments will become available as our vaccine inventory increases.

Based on FDA/CDC guidelines both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines provide protection for the most recent dominant strains. If you are seeking a vaccine from a specific manufacturer, please call 270-417-6538 and verify availability.

Due to the commercialization of the vaccine, Owensboro Health can only provide the vaccine to insured patients at no charge*. This includes Medicare, Medicaid and Employer-based plans. Uninsured patients who would like to receive the vaccine at no cost can utilize the Bridge Access Program. Vaccines under this program will be provided to Walgreens, CVS, and local health departments at no charge. You can visit www.vaccines.gov for more information.

*Most insurance plans will cover the cost of the vaccine, but patients should check with their insurance carrier to confirm.
