About LifeSpring

LifeSpring is a free support program designed to help cancer patients in their fight against this disease. The program, created in June 2000, focuses on important issues, including nutrition, physical rehabilitation and how emotional stress impacts their overall care. We are here to partner with our patients, helping them improve their health, and to offer expertise and resources, so no one is alone in their journey.

LifeSpring provides educational and exercise programs to assist in dealing
with a variety of issues, including:

    • Cancer-related distress
    • Nutrition & Healthy choices
    • Pain Management
    • Fatigue & Strength

Who Is LifeSpring For?

LifeSpring is for everyone affected by any type of cancer. We offer support to those who are newly diagnosed, in the midst of treatment, managing a recurrence or celebrating being a multi-year survivor.

For patients and their loved ones, a cancer diagnosis means having to understand a lot of information about disease types, treatments, and side effects. LifeSpring is here to offer support, comfort, and reassurance to patients and their loved ones as we help them in their fight. We’re also here to help connect patients and family members with the services you’ll need to achieve the best possible experience.

LifeSpring meets every Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Healthpark. From 4:45 - 5:30 p.m., prior to the start of the LifeSpring program, Mary Quader, licensed Healthpark Exercise Physiologist, will provide a free yoga class on the third floor of the Healthpark. The class is focused on the mind/body benefits of yoga and meditation. No registration required.
