Autumn Cereal Snack
- 3/4 cup brown sugar Splenda
- 1 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 6 cups cereal of choice (suggest combining several cereals, preferably whole grain)
- 4 ounces (about 3/4 cup) chopped nuts
- In a small bowl, mix sugar and spice. Melt butter in a separate bowl, add vanilla.
- In a large bowl, blend cereal and nuts. Pour butter over mix and stir. Add sugar/spice blend and stir to coat.
- Microwave on high 5 minutes or until mix begins to brown, stirring every minute.
- Spread over wax paper to cool.
Serves: 24 (Amount per 1/3 cup serving)
