Does every Owensboro Health clinic and doctor provide virtual visits?

Most locations and providers are participating, please call to see if a virtual appointment is a good option for you.

I have never been to this clinic location, can a new patient schedule a virtual visit?

New patients may schedule a virtual visit for many appointment types. Please call the doctor’s office to confirm.

I don’t have internet, a smart phone or a laptop. How will I connect?

For many appointment types we also provide audio-only virtual appointments via telephone for those who cannot access a web-cam.

Do I need to download anything?

Instructions vary for each clinic. When you call your doctor's office to schedule they will walk you through the process with specific instructions.

Will the doctor’s office call me before the appointment or do I need to call them?

Your doctor’s office will call you 15 minutes before your appointment time to check-in and make sure you are able to connect.

How much does this cost? Do I need insurance?

Cost and billing are exactly like in-office visits. We will bill your insurance and accept both co-pays and out-of-pocket payment.
