Lactation Services

Breast milk is the “best” milk for babies. While breastfeeding is the most natural way to feed your newborn, it doesn’t always come easily. Support makes all the difference.

Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants and Certified Lactation Counselors are here to help. We offer in-hospital and outpatient one-on-one consults and care planning, virtual classes and phone/email contact options. Breastfeeding Friends, our monthly mothers’ group, is not currently meeting but will resume as soon as we can safely be in person together again.

Preparing to breastfeed your baby

Parents feel more confident in the early days with breastfeeding when they attend prenatal classes, watch videos, and talk with other experienced breastfeeding moms. We recommend all pregnant mothers attend our prenatal breastfeeding class, now offered virtually.
