Berry is a 1982 graduate of the University of Kentucky’s College of Medicine and also carries a bachelor’s degree in general studies from UK in 1977 and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University in 1991. He completed his internship with the University of Louisville Affiliated Hospitals group in 1983 and a family practice residency with the Trover Clinic Foundation in Madisonville in 1996.
In addition to his work throughout Kentucky, Berry has also practiced medicine in New York, South Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas, Texas, Connecticut and Alaska, including service with both the USAF and the federal Indian Health Service. In addition to his board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine, Berry is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Kentucky Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. has more than 30 years of experience, including serving as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force and practicing in a number of communities throughout Kentucky.
Dr. Berry is an outdoorsman who likes to fish and hunt. He enjoys Kentucky deer hunting and has been to Africa twice. While living in Alaska, Dr. Berry says fishing and hunting could last for 30 days.
