Volunteer Auxiliary Fundraising

The Volunteer Auxiliary is a fundraising arm of the hospital and its sole purpose is to raise funds to support hospital approved projects. The auxiliary hosts fundraisers once a month with various venders such as the purchase of uniform gift cards, linen sales, book sales, jewelry sales, etc.

Large scale projects supported through fundraising and the Gift Shop over the past several years include but are not limited to; $750,000 to the new hospital for the courtyard located outside of the gift shop and a portion to the chapel, $250,000 to the Cancer Center, Sculptures in the café courtyard, Warm therapy pool at the Healthpark, $52,000 to the Rehab Van, several areas in the Healthpark totaling $500,000, and nearly $40,000 in nursing/medical scholarships.

Yearly projects supported are; care bear program, heart pillows for cardiac patients, newborn care packages, turbans for cancer patients, scholarships, sibling t-shirts and bereavement boxes for nursery.
