How We Can Help
As a nonprofit hospital, Owensboro Health must complete a community health needs assessment every three years and adopt an implementation strategy to meet the community health needs identified through that assessment. Employer Services works with our partners to connect resources of the health system to needs of our employers as we recognize we are both working to influence these same health concerns. The five prioritized health needs of the current implementation strategy are obesity and obesity related diseases, tobacco use and smoking, substance use, mental health, and housing.

Partnership Opportunities
Employer Services collaborates with employers and their brokers in designing benefit programs that make efficient use of the current resources of the health system. We design customized solutions involving our network, Owensboro Health Network, direct agreements for health care services and engagement approaches that positively impact health outcomes while lowering overall costs of providing care. We work to ensure system resources are aligned with your workforce development pre-employment screening needs, OSHA surveillance, and conservative treatment of workers’ compensation injuries and illnesses. See our Occupational Medicine services for more information.
