How You Benefit
A Healthpark personal trainer assesses your needs and designs a personalized workout that can:
- Enhance your athletic performance
- Increase your strength, energy, flexibility, balance, mobility and/or bone density
- Make it easier to manage your weight
Clinical Exercise Guidance
With your doctor’s approval, your personal trainer also can help you:
- Improve your health as you manage a medical condition, including chronic pain
- Safely stay active after completing physical therapy
- Get in shape before or after delivering a baby
What To Expect
As you begin personal training at Healthpark, you’ll share basic information about your lifestyle and medical history. Your trainer will ask about your goals and exercise preferences, evaluate your physical abilities, and record your height, weight, pulse and other measurements.
You’ll then receive recommendations for a customized training program that may include stretching, strength training and cardiovascular exercise. You’ll learn how to use Healthpark exercise equipment and discover activities to do on your own.
Meet with your personal trainer regularly to get feedback and encouragement, ask questions and, if needed, adjust your exercise program.
