Aquatic Programs

For fun, low-impact exercise, take advantage of recreational and competitive aquatic programs for your whole family at the Owensboro Health Healthpark. You’ll enjoy:

• A 10-lane, 25-yard competition-size pool
• A warm-water therapy pool
• Aquatic classes offering low- to high-intensity exercise

Swim Lessons

Whether you have a child who’s new to the water or you’d like to brush up on your stroke skills, private swim lessons are available year-round for 1-year-olds through senior adults. Your instructor will tailor the lessons to your needs and pace.

The cost for six 30-minute lessons for members is $132, and for nonmembers, the rate is $160 for ALL ages. If you would like to buy add-on lessons, they may be purchased at a cost of $30 for members and $40 for nonmembers.

Lap Swim

Enjoy lap swim in our competition-size pool seven days a week. If you’re younger than 13, and you don’t have a junior membership, you may lap swim during family time only with an adult. The number of lanes available changes throughout the day, so call us for updates or sign up to receive our weekly schedule. During busy times, we encourage circle swimming to make it easier for you to participate.

Certified Lifeguards

You'll feel safer in the water knowing the Owensboro Health Healthpark lifeguards are certified by the American Red cross meaning they're trained in preventing, recognizing and responding to aquatic emergencies.
