Group exercise class

Gain endurance, strength, and flexibility in a variety of group exercise classes at Healthpark. You’ll benefit from American Council on Exercise certified instructors who are specially trained to help people of all fitness levels meet their goals.

The Healthpark offers over 100 group exercise classes per week - we have something to fit everyone.

Things To Know

  • All classes are 50-60 minutes in length unless otherwise noted.
  • Each class is led by an NCCA certified group fitness instructor - so you are in good hands.
  • Classes are suitable for all levels and can be modified to less or more intensity depending on the individual.
  • Any equipment that you may need is on-site and ready for use.
  • Your Healthpark membership includes all classes for FREE!

Express Classes – Any “express” class is a 25-30 minute class that is designed to give a great workout if you are short on time. Don’t be fooled! Guaranteed to challenge you in half the time of a regular class.

Descriptions and Schedule

*Backside Burner - Do you sit for long periods of time throughout the day? Are you working to ensure that you aren’t prone to lower body injury? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then you may want to consider participating in an upcoming class that will offer strengthening to some of your strongest muscles and increased body stabilization.

  • Tuesdays with Shiloh at 9:30 a.m. in the Rogue Room
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. with Rebekah in the Rogue Room

Body Pump – This workout challenges all you major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for and fast!

Body Flow – The yoga, tai chi, pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration, and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves, and poses to music creates a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

  • Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. with Kim in the 3rd Floor Aerobics Studio
  • Fridays at 9:30 p.m. with Patty in the 3rd Floor Aerobics Studio

*Bootcamp – Smaller group (max 15) training in the Rogue room on the 1st floor. Circuit style strength training at a faster pace keeping your heart rate up and your muscles under stress. SIGNUP STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

  • Mondays, Tuesdays. Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. with Charles in the Rogue Room
  • Mondays and Wednesdays at Noon with Logan in the Rogue Room

Cardio/Strength Interval – Circuit interval stations for cardio endurance, metabolic conditioning, and strength conditioning. A high energy workout. Perform at your pace.

Chair Yoga – In the midst of your hectic life, find peace and calm during this escape! Enhance your flexibility, strength, balance and state of mind, as your aches, pains and stress melt away all the use of a chair.

  • Tuesdays at Noon with Dana in the 2nd Floor Aerobics Studio
  • Thursdays at Noon with Pat in the 2nd Floor Aerobics Studio

Core & Stretch – This class helps to improve posture, strengthen the core and condition the entire body using only your body weight for resistance. Indulge in this unique approach to fitness that incorporates many of the principles of pilates.

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. with Dana in the 2nd Floor Aerobics Studio

Cycling – Experience an energizing and invigorating workout; imagine the challenge of an indoor bike ride that incorporates cardio, power, speed, resistance and endurance training! Perfect for all levels.

  • Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30 a.m. with Emily in the 3rd Floor Cycling Studio
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. with Emily in the 3rd Floor Cycling Studio
  • Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. with Emily in the 3rd Floor Cycling Studio

*Cycle Express – A 30 minute high energy, low impact cycling class workout!

  • Tuesdays and Fridays at Noon with Jason in the 3rd Floor Cycling Studio

Heart Moves - CB – Heart Moves chair based. A very low intensity exercise class with all movements done sitting in a chair or using the chair as support. Develop strength, stamina, and endurance in this class.

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:45 a.m. with Audrey in the 2nd Floor Aerobics Studio
  • Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. with Audrey in the 2nd Floor Aerobics Studio

Heart Moves – No chairs or sitting here. Low to mid intensity with low impact aerobics for cardiovascular endurance, mild strength training, flexibility, and balance exercises.

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. with Audrey in the 2nd Floor Aerobics Studio

Lower Half – This 25 minute class focuses exclusively on strengthening, stretching, and toning your “lower half” using body weight exercises, power bands, and more.

  • Mondays and Wednesdays at 8 a.m. with Patty in the 3rd Floor Aerobics Studio

*Rebounding – Rebounding utilizes a small trampoline that challenges your cardiovascular conditioning and strength. It includes high intensity, interval training to improve conditioning.

  • Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. with Jan in the 3rd Floor Aerobics Studio

S.O.A.R. – Stepping On and Rebounding. This class utilizes the rebounders and the step heavily as the focus of the workout. Floor work, weights, and stretching included too!

Step and Tone – If you are looking for basic this is it! Basic step combinations and basic strength training.

Strong by Zumba-HIIT – High intensity interval training combining body weight muscle conditioning, cardiovascular, and plyometric (explosive movement) training.

T.E.A.M. – Thoroughly Exercising All Muscles. Never the same thing twice! This class offers a variety of training methods to thoroughly Exercise all muscles (TEAM)!!

Turbo Kick! – Turbo Kick combines traditional kickboxing moves with high intensity interval training (HIIT) for a fun, unbelievable calorie burn! Just kicking and punching the air here – no contact!

Wake Up Call – This 45 minute class will start your day off with exercises utilizing all body systems – cardio, strength, power, and endurance. Body weight exercises, interval training, and minimal equipment.

Zumba Gold – A series of fitness programs specifically designed to take the exciting Latin and International dance rhythms created in the original Zumba and bring them to the active older adult, the beginner and the other special populations that may need modifications for success.

Zumba Burst – The classic Zumba experience but 40 minutes instead of an hour. Short, intense “bursts” of effort mixed in.
