Enjoy better health with nutrition counseling and weight management services from Owensboro Health. At the Healthpark, our team of registered dietitians is here to help you set and achieve your nutrition, weight and health goals. 

You’ll get the opportunity to sit down, one-on-one, with one of our dietitians who will provide you with personalized nutrition guidance for yourself or a loved one of any age—including infants.

Whether you want to completely overhaul your eating style, fine-tune your food choices, manage a medical condition or just get tips and inspiration for healthier eating, nutrition counseling from a registered dietitian can help you get started in the right direction.

Ask your Primary Care Provider for a referral to nutrition counseling. Some insurance plans will cover nutrition counseling.

Meet Our Dietitians

Our dietitians work with a wide variety of nutritional needs. Please ask your doctor for a referral upon seeking nutritional counseling.

Beth CecilBeth Cecil, RDN, LD is the Manager of Community Wellness & Education. She is certified in food allergy management and is a Lifestyle Coach for the Diabetes Prevention Program. She also holds a Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Management, so you can trust her to care for your or your loved one’s specialized needs.

Kelci MurphyKelci Murphy, RDN, LD is an outpatient and wellness dietitian with Healthpark Community Wellness and Education. She is a graduate of Western Kentucky University where she received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She recently completed her Dietetic Internship at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. Kelci is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a certified LifeSTEPS® instructor.

Shelby ShelbyShelby Shelby, RDN, LD, is an outpatient and wellness dietitian with Healthpark Community Wellness and Education. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky and completed her dietetic internship through the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at the University of Kentucky. Shelby holds a Certificate of Training in Food Allergies and is also a certified LIFESTEPS® instructor. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Shelby is passionate about individual and community health and works hard to assist in healthy lifestyle changes through her individual counseling sessions and group education classes.

LifeSteps® Weight Management Program

During 16 weekly group meetings, our certified Lifesteps® instructor(s) will teach you skills that will help you lose weight and keep it off. You’ll also enjoy camaraderie and support with your peers.
